PhD, MMedSci, BSc
Emily is a Nutrition and Health Coach with a PhD in Appetite Psychology and over a decade of experience in nutrition research, coaching, and workplace wellbeing. She helps people improve their relationship with food, understand nutrition, and make sustainable lifestyle changes, from athletes to those managing complex health conditions.
Previously at Nestlé, Emily led reformulation projects to make products healthier and ran employee wellness programmes. Today, alongside her role at WellAhead, she co-owns AW Muscle and Fitness in Cheshire and delivers nutrition education for organisations and sports teams.

David Crosland is an expert in image and performance enhancing drugs (IPEDs) with more than 25 years of experience in bodybuilding, harm reduction, and public health. A former national-level bodybuilder and judge, he now works with law enforcement, the MOD and universities on IPED-related issues, and serves as an expert witness in UK courts.
He chairs the Public Expert Advisory Board for ASUK, runs a testosterone replacement therapy clinic, and leads Crosland’s Harm Reduction Services. David is also developing a safety app for steroid users and writing a book on steroid use.

Romana began her career in 2004 studying Paramedic Science at the University of Hertfordshire while working with the London Ambulance Service. Over 13 years, she gained extensive frontline experience, from emergency response and trauma care to leading the Counter Terrorism Response Team and managing a team of 16 paramedics as Clinical Team Leader.
After relocating to the South West in 2019, Romana continued her work as a paramedic and later joined WellAhead. She now combines her expertise across several roles, including phlebotomy, event medical cover, and analysing blood reports.

Emma graduated in 2016 with a First-Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences before training as a Physician Associate. She has six years of clinical experience across urology and gastroenterology and now specialises in oncology, with a focus on gastrointestinal and germ cell cancers.
Outside of clinical practice, Emma has a strong interest in preventative health. She has been bodybuilding for over three years, following her earlier passion for CrossFit.
